Prayer Of Confession

One: You are the seeker of the lost, O God.

You put us on the right path when we go astray.

In the rush of daily living, we have lost our ability to be still.

All: You find us, God, ina willingness to seek moments of peace

amidst the busiest days.

One: In our hast we judge others harshly, we have lost the ability to see the good

in each person

All: You find us, O God< as we look compassionately and discover

skills and values of lasting worth.

One: In our pursuit of personal gain, we have lost the ability to meet the

needs of the downhearted and the despised.

All: You find us, O God, as we encourage the distressed and share
